The event, scheduled for the morning of next Thursday, the 9th, will have as its central theme “Europe – problems and challenges”. In collaboration with the Academic Association of Coimbra (AAC) and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Coimbra, the session will take place in the Chimico Laboratory Amphitheater, located at the UC Science Museum, from 9:30 am.

The invited speakers for the round table on Europe’s problems and challenges are Pedro Benevides, journalist from TVI/CNN, and Álvaro Beleza, president of SEDES – Association for Economic and Social Development.

The opening of the event will be in charge of the UC Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni, João Nuno Calvão da Silva. The closing will feature interventions from the president of ESN Coimbra, Pedro Almeida, and the president of the General Directorate of AAC, Renato Daniel.
