After revealing the shield that the hero will wear on his chest in his uniform, james gunn showed practically nothing else about the upcoming film Super man. All fans have is loose information, such as that the character’s uniform will not be revealed anytime soon.
What the director has done, however, is answer questions from fans on his account on Threads. Last week, for example, Gunn revealed that the film will be shot entirely in Imax. Now, the filmmaker responded to a fan, who asked why there was so much mystery about Superman’s look in the film.
According to Gunn, the answer is very simple: the mystery continues because the film won’t come out in less than a year. Evidently, the film’s entire marketing strategy, from commercials to trailers and promotional photos, will be used closer to the film’s release date. Super man.
Super man will show the Man of Steel at the beginning of his heroic career, trying to establish himself in a world that already has superheroes.
The new film will feature David Corenswet (Pearl) in the title paper; Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as Lois Lane; Nicholas Hoult (The Great) as Lex Luthor; Skyler Gisondo (Licorice Pizza) as Jimmy Olsen; between others.
Scheduled for release on July 11, 2025, Super man is the first film of the new DCU.
