After Disney chief Bob Iger admitted that they had quietly canceled some projects, many fans thought that Marvel’s Ironheart series could be among those cancellations.
But producer Brad Winderbaum assured that this is not the case and, right now, they are already editing the series. Therefore, Riri Williams should return to Disney+ next year, depending on the MCU release schedule.

ALL ABOUT IRON HEART
The Iron Heart series will feature the character Riri Williams played by Dominique Thorne, who was introduced to us in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. During Disney’s 2020 investor event, Kevin Feige took MCU fans by surprise by confirming the series of Iron Man’s apprentice and replacement in Marvel comics!
In addition to Dominique Thorne as Ironheart/Riri Williams, the cast also features Anthony Ramos as the villain Hood and Alden Ehrenreich in an undisclosed role!
The series, which never had its release date confirmed by Marvel, ended up being severely affected by the writers’ and actors’ strike in Hollywood. And with that, the series was removed from Marvel Studios’ series calendar and currently has no release date.
