Here’s a trailer and promotional image for the anime series adaptation of the novel Sentenced to Be a Hero: The Prison Records of Penal Hero Unit 9004 (Yūsha-kei ni Shosu: Chōbatsu Yūsha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku) by Rocket Shokai which will debut in 2025.

The dark fantasy novel is written by Rocket Shoukai and illustrated by Mephisto. It was originally released as a webnovel on the website Kakuyomu from the Kadokawa on October 28, 2020. Kadokawa has been publishing light novels since September 17, 2021 and to date has published 5 volumes. A manga adaptation by Natsumi Inoue was released on Dengeki Comic Regulus on March 25, 2022.
