In the plot, we meet Antonia (Christanne de Bruijn), a young woman with an obvious talent for classical music who has one big dream: to be a conductor of an important orchestra. But her life is not easy, coming with her family from Holland to the United States, where she later discovers that she was adopted, she suffers all types of prejudice in American lands in pursuit of her dream of studying and achieving respect in the world of music.

In the plot, we meet the previously Finnish army lieutenant Touko Laaksonen who later became one of the most iconic homosexual artists of the 20th century. In the plot, we meet young Mohammed Assaf who enjoys his days in the city of Gaza, Palestine, where he lives with his family. Happy and full of friends who have always been involved with music, he goes through a great abyss when he loses his only sister prematurely to a terrible illness. Thus, he grows up and his dreams become more distant and the reality he lives in sucks him in. Until one day he decides to return to music as inspiration and applies for Arab Idol (the Arab American Idol) in 2013, seeking his long-awaited success and recognition.
