Perhaps this is not such a distant or absurd hypothesis, since Gerwig has already demonstrated that she is interested in turning her career around and investing more in major productions. The filmmaker, who is now developing the new film in the Chronicles of Narnia franchise, said that she is interested in directing a superhero film:

“It would have to be something that I had a feeling for and a relationship with. A well-shot and well-executed action film is simply incredible. It’s a dance. I’ve never done anything like that,” Greta told Rolling Stone last year.
