The remake of Silent Hill 2 appears to be close to being released. The exact date has not yet been revealed, but more and more statements and rumors about the game have been appearing in recent days. Now, directly from Bloober Team. In a meeting to present the company’s most recent financial report, the developer spoke about the title.

The cool thing is that the company demonstrates that it has an exact understanding of how important it is to “change” with a giant brand like this.

“In 2023, almost half of our production forces were focused on the most anticipated project currently in the industry – Silent Hill 2, which we are creating together with our partner, Konami. It is one of the most famous brands in the world of video games and definitely one of the main ones when it comes to the horror genre. We have made every effort to provide the best emotions possible – both for those who played the original over 20 years ago and for newcomers,” says another excerpt from the report.

Bloober CEO promises news soon about Silent Hill 2

After rumors of a possible State of Play focused on the remake of Silent Hill 2, which would be scheduled for May, Bloober Team finally took an official stance on the game. Unfortunately, however, it is still quite vague. The company’s CEO, Piotr Babieno, promised the famous “news coming soon”.

At a company conference, the executive confirmed: “We are in the final stages of work on Silent Hill 2. We expect a release date and platforms on which the game will be available to be revealed soon”.
