‘The Legend of Zelda’: Director reveals he intends to do something SPECIAL with the live-action adaptation

‘The Legend of Zelda’ will receive an adaptation in live-action and now the director Wes Ball (‘Planet of the Apes: Reign’) commented on the upcoming reinterpretation for the big screen.

In an interview with CBRthe filmmaker couldn’t reveal many details about the project, but said he’s planning to do something “special” with the film.

“I really can’t say anything”he said. “I learned in the past that everything I say is taken out of context. It’s probably safest to say nothing until we have something concrete, which I’m sure will happen at some point. I’m very excited and happy to be part of this. It’s been a dream [de toda a vida] for me, basically… Being part of a ‘The Legend of Zelda’ and do something special.”

For now, details about the plot and cast have not yet been released, but the direction should be in the hands of Wes Ball (‘Planet of the Apes: Kingdom’), while the producer’s chair will be occupied by Avi Aradresponsible for the ‘Spider man‘.

Speaking of which, with the announcement of the adaptation, great speculation arose whether the actress Patricia Summersettwho lent her voice to Zelda in several games in the franchise, would apply for the role in the film.

During an interview with Games Radar+the actress replied:
