Tyrese Gibson gives PROMISING update on ‘Fast & Furious 11’

In an interview with CBRthe star Tyrese Gibson commented on the already confirmed sequence ‘Fast and Furious 11’in which he will reprise his role as Roman, and brought some details about the sequel.

During the conversation, Gibson commented that the project was postponed due to the Hollywood Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) strike that took place throughout 2023.

“Because of the strike, on both sides, there were some real delays in writing [do roteiro] and in the way of putting the film on its feet. I heard we’re leaving it for 2025, right at the beginning of the year.”he told.

The actor continued: “I think now the pressure is on to elevate the film and take it to new levels. As you saw, Gal Gadot and The Rock are back, which is exciting.”

During the interview, Tyrese also explained that the saga’s writers are aware of fans’ desire to focus more on car racing. Earlier this year, it was reported that the film would “go back to basics” and have a new villain. In the interview, Tyrese explained that fan suggestions are being taken seriously.

“That’s what I’m hearing. I learned that they are listening to the fans and the feedback and what the public wants.”

Remembering that the last film released in the franchise, ‘Fast and Furious 10‘, is available in the catalog of the streaming service of Prime Video.
