Every week, the Digital Look presents the list of Netflix’s main releases, with emphasis on original content. And between April 29th and May 5th, Tudum streaming will receive several films and series on its platform.
This week, Netflix receives, among other original productions, the miniseries A Whole Man. The series also arrives in the catalog Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.

Time Patrol Bon — Season 1

The first animated series adaptation of the science fiction manga “Time Patrol Bon”, by Fujiko F. Fujio, first published in 1978, is scheduled to premiere in 2024, only on Netflix. The story follows the adventures of Bon, a student who becomes a member of the Time Patrol by chance and saves people who have died an unfortunate death, as long as they do not have a direct impact on the story. From the construction of the pyramids in Egypt, through the Tian Shan mountain range on the Silk Road to the Jurassic period amidst the dinosaurs… everyone will be enchanted by the stunning landscapes and historical moments seen from Bon’s perspective. The series was produced by BONES, the animation studio responsible for “My Hero Academia”, among others, which has won fans all over the world. The direction is by Masahiro Ando, known for his delicacy when portraying characters in works such as “Hanasaku Iroha” and “Sword of the Stranger”. Furthermore, in the Japanese version, the main character Bon Namihira is voiced by Akihisa Wakayama, with an innovative performance that will captivate the audience, and her friend Ream Stream is voiced by the talented Atsumi Tanezaki, who received the awards for Best Protagonist Voice Actor and Best Supporting Voice Actor at the 17th Seiyu Awards. The music is by Michiru Ōshima, who continues to work in a variety of areas, from historical dramas to animated TV series. This adventure and mystery story for adults and children is about to begin!
