This star with an impressive physique begins the sequel to a long-awaited saga!

The action movie star Gerard Butler is back on the big screen! After surviving the apocalyptic events of the film’Final Destruction: The Last Refuge‘, the actor, who has already ventured across Brazil, is back for a second part of the classic that moved cinema screens!

In the continuation of the film, the cinema veteran, who in his 54 years has starred in around 50 action films, reprises his role as John Garrity alongside the Brazilian actress Morena Baccarin. The actress plays his ex-wife, Allison. The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh.

In the first part of the story, a comet was about to hit Earth, causing a global apocalypse. John decided to embark on a dangerous journey with his ex-wife Allison and his son Nathan to reach a refuge in Greenland and try to stay safe from the disaster.

Already in ‘Final Destruction: The Last Refuge 2‘, the second part, John and his family are forced to leave this shelter to find a new home. They embark on a dangerous journey through the frozen wastelands of Europe.

This is Gerard Butler’s third project with the same director, as they collaborated on ‘Invasion of the Secret Service’ and ‘Final Destruction: The Last Refuge’. They are also preparing the film ‘Night Has Fallen’, in which Butler will reprise his role as secret agent Mike Banning.
