Vitrine Filmes released the teaser for “Baby”, directed by Marcelo Caetano, known for his work in “Corpo Elétrico” (2017). The film is one of the Brazilian highlights at the Cannes Festival, with its world premiere scheduled for May 21st during the parallel Critics’ Week section. A story of encounters and challenges

The plot of “Baby” follows the journey of Wellington (played by João Pedro Mariano), a young man who has just been released from a Detention Center. Trying to reintegrate himself into society, Wellington finds himself lost on the streets of São Paulo. His life takes an unexpected turn during a visit to a porn cinema, where he meets Ronaldo (Ricardo Teodoro), a prostitute. The relationship between them unfolds into a series of passions and conflicts, exploring the complexities of human connections in an urban setting.
