After the news that searches had been made of Diddy’s properties, and allegations that two of the artist’s children had been detained, the rapper reacted.
According to several international media outlets, Diddy’s lawyer shared a statement criticizing and referring to the searches as “an excessive use of military force.”
“There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility on the part of the authorities or the way their children and employees were treated,” added lawyer Aaron Dyer, this Tuesday.
“Sean Combs was never detained, but he spoke and cooperated with the authorities”, he further highlighted.
“Despite speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any member of his family were detained, nor was his travel restricted in any way,” he highlighted, referring to the fact that the rapper was allegedly intercepted by authorities at an airport .
Aaron Dyer referred to this act as an “unprecedented ambush” and stressed that the artist “is innocent and will continue to fight every day to clear his name”.
It should be remembered that rapper Diddy has been involved in accusations of abuse and sex trafficking in recent months.
