The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), called the House’s Legislative Police to take action against Felipe Neto. Reason: the influencer called the congressman “excremental” during an event on social media regulation in the Chamber.
The incident was forwarded to the Special Criminal Court attached to the 10th Federal Court of the SJDF.
On Tuesday (23), Neto participated in a symposium organized by the Chamber of Deputies on the regulation of digital platforms and criticized Lira.
“We need to get the people on our side. They continue to believe in censorship. We need to talk more, as the Internet Civil Rights Framework brilliantly did. And it is possible for us to change the perception of a bill 2630, which, unfortunately, was crushed by the excremental Arthur Lira”, said the influencer.
This Thursday (25), Felipe Neto commented on the action filed by Lira, and said that his intention was to make a “joke”. “I have no opinion about the person Arthur Lira, I don’t know him. As a parliamentarian, my opinion is clear: your actions and inactions are largely harmful and extremely reprehensible.”
