Victoria Beckham is “more open than ever” to a Spice Girls tour. The girl group members reunited last weekend, when the singer and businesswoman celebrated her 50th birthday with a star-studded party in London.

Fans were excited to see Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, Melanie “Mel B” Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton at the exclusive Oswald’s club in London. And anyone who thinks that celebrities just posed for photos is wrong.

In a video published on Instagram, David Beckham, Victoria’s husband, showed the Spice Girls dancing and singing the hit ‘Stop’ to an audience of family and friends. The former football player also appears in the images smiling.

According to sources at OK! Magazine, the meeting in the greatest show atmosphere shook Victoria, who didn’t even consider the possibility of going back on stage. Now that her children—Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12—are older, the scene is far from the one that surrounded her in the early 2000s, when the group paused its activities.

“Victoria finally realized that she really misses the girls. The kids are growing up and are independent. She’s not ‘Mommy’ now,” the insider revealed. “Reaching 50 years old and entering this new chapter made her value her friendships with the girls and with Eva Longoria. Their presence at the party made her realize how much she loves and misses them.”

“She never wanted to go back because she always said the Spice Girls were in the past. Now, however, she seems to have changed her mind and is thinking, ‘Oh my God, I need my friends’. A tour could happen now that she realizes this. Victoria is more open than ever”, the insider added.

The Spice Girls were active between 1994 and 2000. They had a brief comeback between 2007 and 2008, and the group’s last performance with the five of them was in 2012, during the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.

In 2019, there was even a new tour, but Victoria Beckham, busy with other professional commitments, did not participate. The girl group made a series of stadium appearances in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
