The production of the World Rock Day Crossroads Festival, the largest of its kind in southern Brazil and which features more than 12 hours of shows, informed the first names in the line-up of the seventh edition of the event, scheduled for July 13th, the from noon, at Pedreira Paulo Leminski. Check below which bands are already confirmed at the festival.
Relespública
The legendary Relespública will make a special presentation with a show in celebration of the band’s 35th anniversary with Emanoel Moon (drums), Fabio Elias (voice, compositions and guitars) and Ricardo Bastos (double bass) on stage. The group was born in Curitiba, in 1988, and is a reference in local and national rock. Along the way, they have been to events such as Rock in Rio, lost count of the number of shows they performed and released several albums, including “MTV Presents”, with hits such as “Minha Menina”, “Não Mais”, “Garoa and Loneliness”, among many others. Last year, they also celebrated two decades of the most notable album in their career “As Histórias É Equals”, with the publication of a book and reissue of the vinyl.
Djambi
Djambi, from Curitiba, has also been at the Festival with a sound that combines rock, reggae, ska, and other musical styles for more than two decades. The band is considered a highlight in national reggae and has already performed at the event in 2019; For this year, the group’s setlist has big hits, such as “Barca Pra Ilha”, “Keep This Feeling”, and “Guia”. The group’s lineup includes Maurício Nassar, on drums; Marcelo Nassar, on bass; Denis Barbosa, on guitar; Beto Siri, on keyboards; and Rodolpho Xaba, as vocalist.
River Rise
Another confirmed attraction is the band River Rise, which for the first time appears on the stage of the biggest festival dedicated to World Rock Day in southern Brazil. Discovered in the Cross Originals project, which introduces new original bands to the Curitiba public, the group goes classic rock and hard rock, combining riffs and guitar solos with melodic and modulated vocals, in songs that talk about the changes in life, memories, reality and wishes. River Rise is formed by Juliana von Mühlen (vocals), Márcio Arend (guitar), Marcelo “Pesh” (drums), and Ozéias Rodrigues (bass).

World Rock Day Crossroads Festival 2024
July 13, 2024, at Pedreira Paulo Leminski. Tickets for the 7th edition of the Crossroads Festival on World Rock Day are available through Cheers with prices starting at R$120 (half price) + administration fee. Cross customers and anyone who has a digital voucher available on the event’s Instagram profile pay half, in addition to blood donors, students, and others provided for by law.
