The reason that led Rhapsody Of Fire’s bassist to cancel his participation in the Brazil show

Rhapsody of Fire’s bassist, Alessandro Sala, gave up on coming to Brazil for a show he was going to do on May 9th due to commitments in his other profession: experimental physicist. Check out the band’s note below.

“Dear fans. As many of you already know, my personal life orbits around two wonderful suns: music and science. In the time I’m not dealing with low frequencies for ROF, I work as an experimental physicist in a laboratory, trying to create new materials that intrigue me and that could be useful for the technological advancement of our society. As you can imagine, this situation – and 2024 in particular – requires professional commitments on both sides.

For this reason, I will not be able to tour South America with my bandmates and play my beloved songs in front of you all. Alex, Roby, Paolo and Giacomo understand this unique situation and support me in everything I do, and for that I am eternally grateful. Fortunately, the low frequencies will not be uncovered: our friend Danilo Arisi will temporarily take my place and raise his bass on the stage shouting GLORIA PERPETUA. And don’t worry too much about me, I’ll be back at the ROF in time for the summer performances!”

Power metal band Rhapsody of Fire confirmed a unique show in Brazil in May. The presentation will be in the city of São Paulo, on Thursday, May 9th, at 9pm, at the Carioca Club. Production is by Dark Dimensions.
