NoIn the early hours of Tuesday morning, several people in the south and center of the Iberian Peninsula were surprised by a kind of meteorite that crossed the sky.
According to experts, it is actually space junk from a Chinese launch vehicle (the CZ-2F rocket). These re-entered the atmosphere shortly after 23:30, Portuguese time.
The most impressive videos were filmed in various areas of Andalusia, such as Seville and Huelva, but even in the center of the Peninsula, as is the case in Madrid and Toledo, it was glimpsed, reveals ABC.
In Portugal it was also possible to see the show, with reports in the Algarve, Alentejo and Lisbon region.
Hours before the sighting, the portal Frontera Espacial realized that the debris could fall in the area of the Canary Islands.
