The company highlights that Copilot is based on large-scale data and threat intelligence, namely more than 78 billion security signals processed by Microsoft, along with large language models (LLM) to provide personalized insights.

According to the Microsoft Copilot Security study, using Copilot makes the work of security professionals faster (22%) and more accurate (7%). Furthermore, 97% of respondents say they want to use Copilot the next time they have to perform the same task.

“The results demonstrate that everyone – at all experience levels and types of specialization – can achieve safety gains with Copilot. When we put Copilot in the hands of security teams, we can overcome barriers and improve the work experience for everyone.”says Vasu Jakkal, Corporate Vice President, Security, Compliance, Identity, and Management at Microsoft.

Copilot has the ability to process prompts and respond in eight languages ​​with a multilingual interface for 25 different languages. In this way, the company emphasizes, Copilot becomes accessible to the main geographic regions of North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Copilot’s global ecosystem includes more than a hundred Partners and is comprised of managed security service providers and independent software vendors. “We are so grateful to our partners, who continue to play a vital role in empowering everyone to confidently embrace safe and responsible AI.”says Jakkal.

Copilot for Security offers security and IT professionals a suite of new features. Custom promptbooks allow customers to create and save their own series of natural language prompts for common security workstreams and tasks, Microsoft says.

In addition, the Knowledgebase integrations, in preview, enable the integration of Copilot for Security into business logic, allowing activities to be carried out based on the step-by-step guides themselves.

Microsoft also highlights third-party additions from global Partners who are developing integrations and services, as well as connecting to the external attack surface through Defender EASM to identify and analyze up-to-date information about the risks of a company’s external attack surface. company.

Copilot for Security powers Microsoft Entra audit and diagnostic logs, providing additional insights for a security investigation or IT issue analysis from audit logs related to a specific user or event, summarized in natural language.

Finally, usage reports offer dashboard insights into how teams use Copilot tools. In this way, we seek to allow the identification of more optimization opportunities.

Microsoft also announces the launch of a pay-as-you-go licensing model to increase the number of organizations that have access to Copilot for Security. In this sense, the flexible and usage-based pricing model will allow companies to scale their usage and costs depending on their needs and budget.
