The suspension, remember, had occurred after Pinto da Costa’s interview with SIC last Monday, where the president of the Dragons spoke about SAD Porto’s own capital and the agreement relating to the Estádio do Dragão.

In the first instance, FC Porto’s SAD clarified that «it hopes to definitively close the contract with a reputable international company, with recognized experience in optimizing commercial revenues related to major sports equipment», embodied in «minority participation in one of the companies with the commercial rights of the FC Porto Group, through the injection of capital for an estimated amount of between 60 and 70 million euros».

In a statement released later, information was added that «FC Porto’s partner company will receive a part, predictably 30% as dividends, of the results generated by the aforementioned businesses, with full risk sharing, of which a significant growth, given its international experience.

Furthermore, the dragons clarified that they are “negotiating a reformulation of their medium and long-term debt, in an estimated amount of 250 million euros, at a competitive interest rate in market terms.”
