Carolina Salgado reacts to Pinto da Costa’s defeat: They finally realized the manipulation and lies – Ferver

Former companion of the president of FC Porto used social media to speak out.

Two days after Pinto da Costa’s defeat in the race for president of FC Porto, Carolina Salgado, the most controversial of her former teammates – whose relationship even gave rise to a book and a film – reacted. Withdrawn from public life, she turned to social media to talk about the historic moment that the blue and white club is experiencing: the end of Pinto da Costa’s 42-year reign and the election, by a large margin, of André Villas-Boas as the leadership.

“Congratulations to all the members who finally understood what it means to manage FC Porto out of love for the club and not those who managed to raise funds for their own benefit, not looking at means (where the only virtue was not to be discovered) to achieve objectives”wrote Carolina Salgado, in a sharing to which ‘Vidas’ had access.

“Well done to everyone who, in good time, finally realized the manipulation, the lie, that was imposed on you by those whose great virtue, after all, was not to be discovered. I believe that this will be a good president”he writes, referring to Villas-Boas.

Remember that Pinto da Costa and Carolina Salgado met at the Calor da Noite bar, in the city of Invicta. They dated for more than three years. The relationship ended in 2005.
