There’s no room for anyone else. Tickets for the game between Sporting and Portimonense, on the 32nd round of the Primeira Liga, are officially sold out. However, not everything was a bed of roses, as the ticket acquisition process was quite turbulent, with problems on the website that caused confusion at the physical ticket offices.
In a statement, the lions informed that the tickets put on sale this Monday, from 10 am, exclusively for members, are already sold out, although there may be the possibility of tickets for special seats.
“Sporting Clube de Portugal informs that the tickets initially available for the game against Portimonense, counting for the 32nd round of the Liga Portugal, on May 4th, at 6pm, are sold out. It is further informed that, 72 hours before the start of the game, Sporting will be able to make tickets available in the event that there are Special Seats whose members have not exercised their right to purchase. Sales will begin on Thursday, May 2nd, at 10am”, it was revealed.
As for the constraints during the sale, the club regretted the inconveniences, especially after the physical ticket office closed early although there were long queues around the José Alvalade Stadium.
“The club is grateful for the support of all members and deeply regrets the constraints experienced on the official website due to the high demand for online tickets”, he concluded.
