Internal Administration presents subsidy proposal to PSP and GNR associations

The proposal will be submitted to the representative structures of security force elements in separate meetings – Margarida Blasco to receive the socio-professional associations of the National Republican Guard at 3 pm; Public Security Police union associations are received from 5 p.m..In the Ministry of Internal Administration there will be four GNR associations and six PSP union structures, which have been demanding an additional mission identical to that which the Government of António Costa attributed to the Judiciary Police.

A mission supplement equal to that of the Judicial Police would have an annual cost of 351 million euros. Salary increases identical to those of the criminal investigation police could cost 209 million.

At the last meeting, on April 22, the minister decided to grant a subsidy to members of the security forces. However, Margarida Blasco left it unexplained whether it would be a risk subsidy or a mission supplement, nor the amount in question.

The GNR associations and the PSP unions expressed their expectations at the end of the first meeting, given the fact that the Minister of Internal Administration had taken on the subsidy issue “as a top priority”.

The first meeting this Thursday brings to Margarida Blasco’s office the Association of Guard Professionals, the National Association of Guard Sergeants, the Independent Professional Socio Association of the Guard, the National Autonomous Association of the Guard and the National Association of Guard Officers .

Next are the Police Professionals Union Association, the Independent Police Officers Union, the Police Professionals Union, the National Career Union of Chiefs, the National Union of Police Officers and the National Police Union.
