WArlo Ancelotti was a radiant coach after Wednesday’s dramatic victory over Bayern Munich (2-1), which put the Meringues in the Champions League final.
After the final whistle of the game, the Italian coach gave great praise to his players, assuming that this is the best squad he has ever had in his career.
“It happened again. What has happened so many times, which is inexplicable, happened again. The fans pushed and the players believe”, stressed the Transalpine coach.
“We played well in a game that I consider to have been very difficult. But we were always in control of the game, we didn’t lose our heads when we conceded the goal and we recovered. I thank the fans, the club and, above all, the players for a season that no one believed in, Neither did I. I didn’t believe this squad was capable of doing what it did.
