According to the source, ten air assets were fighting the fire that broke out at 14:12 in a bush area of the village of Boas Eiras, in the parish and municipality of Penacova (District of Coimbra).
“The fire is raging very intensely,” he said.

According to information made available on the website of the National Civil Protection Authority, at 16:50, in addition to the ten air assets, there are 368 operational personnel in the theater of operations, supported by 99 vehicles.
