Bruno Fernandes took to social media this Friday to choose the “best moment of the derby” between Sporting and Benfica (2-1), recorded on Thursday night, in the 1st leg of the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup. The Portuguese international chose to highlight a moment that occurred after the final whistle and that quickly became viral on social media.
It is a photograph in which Sebastián Coates and João Neves are the protagonists, which gives the impression that the Sporting captain wanted to give a word of strength to his young rival who is mourning the death of his mother.
The photograph was quickly shared widely on social media and not even Bruno Fernandes, former Sporting captain, was indifferent to the moment.
