WEndell, FC Porto full-back, is in Juventus’ sights to replace Alex Sandro. On Saturday night, in London, the defender made his debut for the Brazilian team and a Juventus observer was also present to accompany him.
The information was reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, this Wednesday, which explains that Juventus likes Wendell due to several factors. He is left-footed, with international experience, knows how to play as a wing-back, fits into a three-man defense and as a winger in a five-man midfield. He is good in the defensive phase and also off the field he is a reliable player, writes the newspaper.
Another non-secondary aspect is the economic one – the Brazilian’s contract ends with FC Porto in 2025 and he earns just over one million euros. Juventus ‘sniffs’ a deal for the new Brazilian international.
Wendell arrived at FC Porto in 2021, after several years representing German side Bayer Leverkusen. Before that, he only played in Brazil. He is 30 years old and has six titles under his belt.
