There is controversy in England. The FA Women’s final between Arsenal and Chelsea (1-0), ended with confusion among banks. In fact, Emma Hayes, Chelsea coach, pushed Jonas Eidevall, coach of the gunners. Later, the leader of the blues accused his opponent of “masculine aggression.”

This problem originated from a protest by the Swedish coach, after he expressed dissatisfaction with an opposing player having attempted to execute a throw-in with a ball that was not in play.

«There is a way to behave on the bench. I understand that he won the game, but the behavior was unacceptable. The way he approached our player (Erin Cuthbert) was unacceptable. We must not lose our temper and, when he calms down, we can have a conversation. It wasn’t the first time he was warned, we have to be good examples. I do not allow male aggression in the bank, for me it is unacceptable”, confessed Emma Hayes, speaking to BBC Sport.

Eidevall reacted shortly afterwards, justifying his opponent’s impetuosity with “bad losing” and said he was “happy with his behavior”.

«The ball went out of bounds and Chelsea wanted another one to make a quick throw and I just said that you can only play with one ball. Of course it triggers a lot of emotions, no more, no less. We have to be responsible in both situations and I am happy with my behavior. I don’t think I did anything wrong. I didn’t have physical contact with anyone, neither players nor coach. I can’t even take it seriously when they call me an aggressor”, said the coach of the gunners.
