A football match in the Peruvian Cup gained prominence on social media this Tuesday (2/4). The game had repercussions due to the precarious conditions of the field. The competition has the participation of approximately 20 thousand teams, including amateurs.

The match between FC Cebollitas and Empresa Comunal de Macari was played at the Tupac Amaru de Sicuani stadium, located in Cusco.

The players faced an unusual challenge when faced with a completely neglected pitch, with the grass reaching waist height. In some areas of the field, the ball could barely be seen due to the amount of vegetation that had grown. Athletes were seen struggling to control the ball amid the adverse conditions.
