This Wednesday, FC Porto shared some important details regarding the April 27th election day, also announcing the entry into operation of a portal in which more relevant information will be published. As already planned, the election will take place between 9 am and 8 pm, and it is now known that there will be 44 polling stations inside Estádio do Dragão.
The stadium will have eight doors in operation, four on the East side and four on the West side, with a perimeter around the venue with exclusive access to club members. Voting may continue beyond 8 pm if there are members in line at that time. From 8pm onwards, you will not be allowed to queue. According to FC Porto’s statutes, it is not possible to vote in advance, either remotely or by post.
To vote, members must have an uninterrupted year in the senior category, with the March 2024 quota and regularized renumbering (dues can be regularized at the Member’s Store, at FC Porto Stores or online, at any time until or during election day, and payment via ATM reference can only be made until 8pm the day before, April 26th). Corresponding members or those under 18 years of age will not be able to vote.
At the time of voting, you will be asked for your membership card (physical or digital) and a legally valid identification document (Citizen’s Card, Identity Card, Passport or Driving License). Voting ballots (one for the Management, Board of the General Assembly and Fiscal and Disciplinary Council, and another for the Superior Council) that contain, on the front or back, any cut, drawing, erasure or any written word will be considered null and void.
The winning list for the Management, General Assembly Board and Fiscal and Disciplinary Council, as well as those elected to the Superior Council, will be proclaimed by Lourenço Pinto, president of the General Assembly Board, immediately after the results are tallied.
