Contract with the North American brand ends this season but will be extended and for higher prices
Sporting and Nike are preparing to announce the renewal of the sponsorship contract and supply of sports equipment. The lions’ relationship with the North American brand ends at the end of the season, but BOLA knows that it will be prolonged and for higher prices.
When the partnership began, in 2021/2022, the values were not made public but the news pointed to 2 million euros per season, roughly the same as what the Italian Macron previously paid but the lions now have a higher margin on the equipment acquired for sale.

Remember that before the North American brand, from 2014/2015 to 2020/2021, the national title season, the lions were equipped by Macron, which had succeeded Puma, a German brand that wore the green and whites from 2006/2007. to 2013/2014. Before, but already in the 21st century, lions wore Reebok. In the 90s of the last century, Adidas and Umbro were the brands that supplied equipment to the lions, in the 80s Hummel, Le Coq Sportif, Puma and Cosmos.
