The footballer representation company Xektalent, Lda took legal action against FC Porto, claiming unpaid funds.

The newspaper OJogo says in its online edition that the company filed a lawsuit against the dragons last Monday, claiming 230 thousand euros from Porto’s SAD. The case was filed at the Central Civil Court of Penafiel (Judicial Court of the District of Porto Este), as can also be seen on the Citius portal.

The same source says that the amount corresponds to a missing portion in the process of signing Mehdi Taremi for the Dragons, in 2020, from Rio Ave. This is the same company that represents Giorgi Abuashvili, an attacking midfielder who signed for FC Porto in 2021 and who left the club in 2023, after representing juniors and the B team. Abuashvili currently plays for Kolkheti-1913, in Georgia.

It should also be remembered that three other lawsuits are pending in court against FC Porto’s SAD: from Passion Sports Management SAS, the company that brokered Luis Díaz’s transfer to Liverpool, which claims 2,682,144.36 euros; from the Global Consulting Agency, which requires payment of 869,243.52 euros; and the branch in Portugal of Livesoccer Company Limited, a company that represents Otávio Monteiro, former FC Porto player, and which executed a debt of 506,726.30 euros.
