Franco Israel, Hidemasa Morita, both from Sporting’s main team, but also João Muniz, from team B, Carolina Santiago, from the women’s team, and athlete Patrícia Silva visited, this Thursday, Casa das Cores, in Lisbon.

In a monthly social responsibility action promoted by the club and the Sporting Foundation, the five lions spent the afternoon with some children who live there.

«We exchanged a lot of ideas, from football things to PlayStation games. We talked about many things. It was a good initiative on the part of Sporting CP and a very beautiful afternoon for us, as we were able to spend time with these children and get to know a reality different from ours. It was good to see the smile on their faces and, for me, it is a pride to be part of actions like this and to see that Sporting CP is more than a sports club and that it is on the right path”, said Franco Israel, goalkeeper of Sporting’s main squad.

Casa da Cores is an institution, founded in 2009, that temporarily shelters some children and young people at risk or in imminent danger. At the moment it has several babies, children and young people from seven months to 17 years of age.
