ANDControversy arose in Spain after the Superior Sports Council (CSD) announced the creation of a Supervision, Standardization and Representation Commission, with the aim of overseeing the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

A measure that aims to respond to the “entity’s crisis, and in defense of the general interest of Spain”, after a series of scandals involving the previous management, headed by Luis Rubiales, who, remember, resigned, after of giving Jenni Hermoso a non-consensual kiss.

According to advance information, this Thursday, in the newspaper To theUEFA has been following this dossier with particular attention, and has even made it known that the possibility of removing the country’s national teams and clubs from their competitions has not been ruled out.

This is because, although the CSD claims to have the full support of FIFA, the body that governs European football says it was not consulted to resolve an issue that violates the regulations, given the government’s direct intervention in the RFEF.
