Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46) was the fastest rider on the day of MotoGP testing in Jerez. The Italian set his best lap in 1:36.405 minutes, beating Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) by 87 thousandths, with Franco Morbidelli (Pramac) in third, at 122 thousandths.
One day after the Spanish Grand Prix, on this same track, won by Francesco Bagnaia, the riders had the chance to test their bikes in Jerez, with two Ducatis in the first three positions, separated by an Aprilia. Furthermore, Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez, who fought for victory yesterday in Jerez, place two more Ducatis in the top-5.
Brad Binder’s KTM finishes with the sixth fastest time, ahead of Aleix Espargaró’s other Aprilia. Three more Ducatis completed the top-10, with Álex Márquez in eighth, Enea Bastianini in ninth and Jorge Martín in tenth place. The other Ducati, owned by Marco Bezzecchi (who achieved a podium yesterday), finished in 13th place.
As for Miguel Oliveira, the Portuguese ended the day in 15th place, with his best lap in 1:37.063 minutes, finishing 658 thousandths behind Fabio Di Giannantonio. The Portuguese driver completed a total of 74 laps of the Jerez circuit, being fastest on the 45th of those laps. Speaking of laps, Johann Zarco was the driver who drove the most, with a total of 88 laps completed, while Pecco Bagnaia was the driver who completed the fewest laps, with 43 completed.
