Sporting announced a sold-out capacity for the match with Portimonense, scheduled for 6pm on Saturday.
«The special places available this Thursday are sold out. The club is grateful for the support of all members who will certainly provide a giant Onda Verde», reads a note left on the website.
On Monday afternoon, at 5pm, «the initially available tickets» were sold out, leaving hundreds of members and fans frustrated. There is such enthusiasm these days that even the website had problems managing such a large influx.
As such, the Alvalade emblem committed to making tickets available in the «eventuality of there being Special Seats whose members have not exercised their right to purchase» up to 72 hours before the start of the said game.
The box office reopened at 10am this Thursday and tickets sold out again, this time around 6pm.
