There are Premier League players who are being ignored in this transfer market for not being vaccinated against Covid-19, according to the newspaper ‘The Telegraph’. The clubs consider that footballers in this situation represent added burdens and as soon as their condition is known in a negotiation, “the phone stops ringing”, according to a source to the British daily. Clubs foresee an increase in the number of cases in winter and, consequently, in restrictions, and are preventing themselves in this way. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and N’Golo Kanté are two of these more visible cases. The English and French midfielders have already been left out of Chelsea’s tour of the United States due to the lack of vaccination and the US government requires that all those who enter its territory are vaccinated against the new coronavirus.
