A Sporting’s delegation is expected to go to Lisbon City Hall to be received by president Carlos Moedas on May 20th, reported the newspaper O JOGO, this Friday, and confirmed the Sport at the Minute.
The municipality and those responsible for Leon have been in permanent contact to refine the details of the visit to the Council Palaces and have already defined May 20, Monday, as the scheduled date for the ceremony.
Sporting will thus be able to display their victory of the I Liga trophy on the balcony of Lisbon City Hall, expecting a real flood of fans in Praça do Munícipio.
The day before, May 19th, the lions will say goodbye to the championship with the reception to Desportivo de Chaves, in a game in Alvalade in which they will also lift, for the first time, the Cup that gives them the status of national champion in 2023 /24.
