ASUS announced the new Zenfone 11 Ultra at an online launch event, which marks an important change to a larger format in the Zenfone series.
The Zenfone 11 Ultra “offers more of everything“, bringing together a better camera system, a more powerful processor and a higher capacity battery in a meticulously designed chassis.
“With the Zenfone 11 Ultra, ASUS offers users a premium design, flagship camera, AI features and longer battery life“, said ASUS Co-CEO SY Hsu, who spoke at the launch event. “In short, the Zenfone 11 Ultra is everything a flagship phone should be in 2024 and will provide the greatest benefit to the end user“.
The Zenfone 11 Ultra features a 94% screen-to-body ratio, achieved through significantly thinner bezels.
The smartphone is available in four colors inspired by landscapes from around the world: Skyline Blue, Eternal Black, Misty Gray and Desert Sand. The phone’s back cover features a mirror-finished ASUS 30th anniversary logo on a matte oleophobic coating.for a premium feel and maximum comfort in the hand“.
When it comes to the camera system, the 50 MP camera is supported by advanced features such as 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0, Super HyperSteady video stabilization and 3D surround sound recording with OZO Audio technology, which provide a unparalleled stabilization and audio quality.
Zenfone 11 Ultra offers advanced AI features and leverages the powerful performance of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with built-in AI, to redefine the way users interact with their devices. Among the various functions, HyperClarity and AI Object Sense stand out, which help to obtain realistic images and capture every moment of life, AI Call Translator, which allows instant speech-to-text conversion and translation into the language User favorite, AI Transcript, which offers real-time transcription while using the recorder application, both during recording and from existing voice files, among others.
This new ASUS device also features a battery with a larger capacity of 5500 mAh, compared to its predecessor, which translates into an improvement in the battery life of the Zenfone 11 Ultra by 26.5%. This improvement ensures that users can enjoy uninterrupted use for extended periods of time, with more than 26 hours of battery life.
Through this new equipment it is possible to see that ASUS remains committed to sustainability. The smartphone’s eco-friendly structure is made from 100% recycled aluminum and the screen is made up of more than a fifth of recycled glass, bringing ASUS closer to a circular supply chain. Furthermore, a 94% reduction in the use of plastic in packaging was also achieved, using 100% recycled paper and soy-based ink.
