UIn December 2021, a couple found a pearl during dinner in Rode Island, USA. After using the stone to make a ring last year, the couple decided to get married. The wedding is scheduled for April 14th, in a chapel in Westerly.

According to Extra, the couple decided that pearls will be part of their big day as a way of ensuring that luck continues to accompany them.

The bride, Sandy Sikorski, will wear pearl earrings and the wedding cake will be covered in pearls. Sandy’s granddaughter, Nora, will be the ring girl and will wear shoes with pearls attached.

The discovery of the pearl happened during a dinner between Sandy, 70, and her boyfriend, Ken Steinkamp, 75. The couple were eating oysters when Sandy found the stone. The woman even put the pearl in her mouth, without realizing it.

Last year, Ken used the pearl to make an engagement ring that he gave to his future wife and the two are now walking down the aisle.
