Stellar Blade demo is now available on PlayStation Store

Title will arrive exclusively on PlayStation®5 on April 26th

Lisbon, March 29, 2024 – A Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announces that the free demo of the long-awaited game from the Korean studio Shift Up, Stellar Blade™is now available on PlayStation®Store. This exciting action combat adventure set in visually stunning environments will come exclusively to PlayStation®5 on April 26th, however it is now available for reservation, both at the usual points of sale and at PlayStation®Store.

According to a publication made in Official PlayStation® Blog, this demo that is now available, takes place from the beginning of the game, when the warrior EVE, a member of the 7th Air Squadron, is sent to Earth on a mission to rescue the planet from the Naytiba, until the first boss fight. This first step includes a tutorial phase to help players familiarize themselves with the basics of combat as they explore post-war Eidos 7, a human city now infested by the Naytiba, giving them a first taste of the gameplay mechanics that will accompany them throughout the history of Stellar Blade™.

Those who complete this demo will be able to transfer their save data when the full game launches on April 26th, starting at the last checkpoint. The saved data must be stored in the PlayStation®5.

It should be remembered that in Stellar Blade™ The future of humanity is at the end of a sword. Destroyed by bizarre creatures, planet Earth was abandoned, with only a decimated human race surviving, taking refuge in a space colony. Here, after leaving the Colony, warrior Eve lands on a desolate planet, with just one mission: to save humanity by rescuing Earth from the NA:tives, an evil force that has devastated the planet. But as EVE begins attacking the NA:tei and piecing together the puzzle that is the mystery of the past while exploring the ruins of human civilization, she discovers that her mission is far from simple, as not everything is as it seems. It is. It’s up to players to help save humanity from extinction in an adventure full of frantic combat, epic bosses and a lot of emotion at the tip of the sword.

The game, which is now available for reservation, has a Standard Edition (available in physical and digital format for an estimated RRP of €79.99) and with a Digital Deluxe Edition, which in addition to the game, includes all pre-order bonuses, a star suit for Eve (and some half-rimmed glasses), another for Adam and a coat for Lily, the star pack for the drone, 2000 PH EXP and 5000 gold coins in the game. It costs €89.99.
