We are still five months away from seeing the new iPhones from Apple – which should be presented in September, according to the company’s traditional calendar – but speculation about the device is already everywhere. The newest rumor is that the iPhone 16 could bring back a very classic and very successful color from the mid-2010 models: the rose gold.
According to a post on the Chinese social network Weibo by user @VNchocoTaco, known for getting details right on Apple devices before launch, the Californian company is expected to bring the gold color with shades of pink to this year’s iPhone Pro line. The last time the color was used was in iPhone 8launched in 2017.
In total, the Pro family should continue with four colors: white, black and a metallic gray, similar to the titanium finish that Apple introduced on the iPhone 15. The blue color would be excluded from the portfolio for this year, according to the publication.
New button
Another important rumor about the new iPhones emerged in January, when the American website The Information stated that a new button for taking photos will be added to the side of the iPhone 16being another significant addition of key function on the side of the device.
For Apple, the idea would be to add a button similar to the volume or screen lock button at the bottom of the right side of the device. This button would be specific for photos and, mainly, for capturing images in a horizontal position. With this, the button can simulate a camera shutter, making it easier to take a photo.
Furthermore, the button can also be touch sensitive, to include more tools in addition to the shutter. According to The Information, if it is sensitive, the button can also be used to adjust zoom when the user slides their finger to the right or left.
