OPPO Reno 12 appeared in a recent rumor that points to the arrival of a new look and MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor
OPPO should soon update its line of cell phones with the Reno 12 model, and possible information about the device emerged in a recent rumor. The device could gain significant design changes, and its supposed set of specifications has also been leaked.

According to the images shown, the Reno 12 can replace the pill-shaped camera module of the current generation, and adopt a more conventional look in which the section is rectangular with rounded corners — very reminiscent of the Galaxy S20 FE. The three rear lenses appear vertically aligned, and the smartphone may have at least one green version.
The cell phone could get a performance upgrade with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, instead of the Dimensity 7050 used in the Reno 11 sold on the global market. The new platform is already used in the Chinese Reno 11, and also in the global Reno 11 Pro.
The OPPO Reno 12 should also feature versions with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, which would place the device at levels close to high-end devices.

Other features expected for the device include:
- 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultrawide and 50 MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom
- 5,000 mAh battery with support for 80 W recharges
- OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and micro curvatures on the sides
- Plastic construction
A specific date for the launch of the OPPO Reno 12 has not yet been announced, but it is possible that the device will be announced during the month of July. Its price should be close to US$499 (around R$2,572 in direct conversion), and a Pro version can cost US$799 (~R$4,119).
OPPO has been increasing its advertising in Brazil, but it is not yet known whether the Reno 12 will be officially sold here.
