Microsoft Edge is one of the most popular browsers for PC, but it also seeks to gain space in the mobile device segment through its differentiated features — among them is Copilot, an assistant based on artificial intelligence that can search the web, generate texts and images, translate pages and more.

As disclosed by the user Leopeva64 of X this Friday (26), the browser appears to be experiencing a button that will allow you to translate texts generated by artificial intelligence faster in the Android version. According to the tipster, this button has also started to appear for some Edge Dev PC users.

The button works as a “switch” that translates the information generated by the chatbot between an original language and the default language used in the browser. As an example, this function will be ideal for when artificial intelligence generates a summary of a page in German, but the user wants to view the content generated in Portuguese.

Among its varied capabilities, Copilot is already capable of translating texts. However, a button dedicated to this function may be more convenient than typing a command asking artificial intelligence to reproduce information in another language.

Making its artificial intelligence more powerful is just one of the ways the software giant is using to popularize the mobile version of Microsoft Edge. It is worth remembering that, recently, the test version of the browser started to allow the installation of all extensions on Android, bringing the experience between cell phones and PCs closer.
