The first quarter of 2024 saw 10% year-on-year growth in smartphone shipments to the global market. According to Canalys, there were 296.2 million units.

The result was higher than expected after ten quarters with a market facing difficulties. The positive result is attributed to the renewal of the brands’ portfolio and macroeconomic stabilization in emerging countries.
