Piracicaba businessman is shot dead by man on motorcycle

A 37-year-old businessman was killed with several gunshots fired by the back of a motorcycle on Friday afternoon (15), on Rua Edgard Conceição in the Paulista neighborhood. The victim’s name has not yet been released by police, who are searching for the motorcycle duo in the region.

According to initial information, the victim was surprised and hit by several gunshots when he got out of his car and tried to run, but ended up falling on the sidewalk. According to the Military Police, the man was hit by at least seven shots, hitting his chest, shoulder, face and head.

The suspects have not yet been located. The Military and Civil Police are following the case. Forensics are on site and teams from Semuttran (Piracicaba Municipal Department of Traffic and Transport) assist with traffic in the region. The section is closed for forensic examination.
