Brother of the 17-year-old girl, who was found dead at home by her grandmother in October last year, was unable to remain silent and revealed to a friend about the crime he committed.

Lara Gonçalves, 17 years old, lived in Alhos Vedros, in the municipality of Moita, when in October last year she was found dead in the living room by her grandmother after the victim had not gone to school and found her cell phone turned off.

After 5 months, Lara’s brother could not bear his remorse and told one of his friends what he did to his sister. The Setúbal Judicial Police would arrest the homicide last Friday.

Present in court, the judge ordered preventive detention for the young man who will await trial in the Prison Establishment.

The relationship between the two was complicated and the victim’s brother believed that he was involved in prostitution to raise money for drugs, a situation he did not agree with. understand whether the young person acted alone or with help.

The father of Lara and the killer says he does not believe that his daughter was a prostitute, he does not consider the argument of drug consumption as valid, which he also knew his daughter was using and therefore did not lack money to buy it.

Authorities hope to soon close the investigation with the final indictment to be forwarded to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
