Murder in bar in Queimados is the topic of meeting between mayor and Civil Police secretary | Rio de Janeiro

Rio – The mayor of Queimados, Glauco Kaiser (União), met this Monday (18) with delegate Marcus Vinícius Amim Fernandes, state secretary of Civil Police, to demand speed in the investigations into the murder of Glaucia da Silva do Senhor , 35 years old. The woman was shot dead in the early hours of Sunday (17), when three cars passed shooting at the Flanela Carioca bar, on Rua Aída, in the city center.

According to the head of the Municipal Executive, the delegate guaranteed rigidity in the investigations to punish the culprits quickly.

“We have now finished an important meeting on public security with the Secretary of State for Civil Police, Marcus Vinícius Amim. We highlight the importance of a swift response to the cowardly attack on Flanela Carioca, in the early hours of Saturday, and the thorough investigation of the case that culminated in the tragic and premature death of young Glaucia”, he highlighted.

Kaiser also had a meeting with Colonel Luiz Henrique Marinho Pires, Secretary of the Military Police, and asked for reinforcements in the 24th Military Police Battalion: “We need strategies to quell crime in our city and bring more security. He responded well to the our demands and guaranteed that in the coming days we will have effective actions in this regard”, he pointed out.

Gláucia was at the nightclub, which is in the center of Queimados, accompanied by friends. She was rescued, but did not survive her injuries. In addition to her, a man was injured in the foot, but his life is not at risk.

The body of the victim, who is a mother of three children, will be buried this Tuesday (19), at 3:30 pm, at the Vale da Saudade cemetery, in Queimados, Baixada Fluminense. The wake will begin at 1:30 p.m.

According to friends, the funeral was scheduled for Tuesday so that Glaucia’s husband, Wallax Rocha, could get to Brazil, as he was in Portugal.

The case is in charge of the Baixada Homicide Police Station (DHBF), which investigates the authorship and motivation of the crime.
