DAfter the false news of the death of King Charles III in Russia was ‘spread’ this Monday, Buckingham Palace was forced to deny such information.

“The following announcement is made by royal communications. The king died unexpectedly yesterday afternoon,” read a statement carried by Russian media. However, the palace issued a statement – published by the Russian news agency TASS – highlighting that the monarch is alive and continues his royal duties.

It should be remembered that Carlos III, aged 75, has been undergoing treatment for cancer since the end of January.
