DSince the beginning of the year, Brent (the benchmark in Europe) has risen 13.62%.

On Monday, Brent ended the session on the International Exchange Futures with an increase of 1.55 dollars compared to the last trading, reaching 86.89 dollars.

For its part, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the benchmark oil in the United States, rose 0.87% and remained at $83.44 per barrel.

According to analysts from the financial services company Banca March, cited by the EFE agency, the rise in oil prices continues to be driven by new air attacks from Ukraine on Russian refineries and by Iraq’s promise to cut its exports in the coming months.
